Just Draw Competition!

Dear Parents,

Business Club are holding an Art competition called ‘Just Draw!’ to raise money for resources to enhance the children’s education. We have recently funded lots of brand new playtime games and equipment for the children of St.Gilbert’s. This competition is an opportunity for the children to draw anything they like, allowing for every individual’s creative ideas. They may want to draw a person or character, an animal, a landscape, toys, still life or even abstract artistic ideas of their own. They are totally free to choose, hence the name ‘Just Draw!’. They may colour their pictures with any medium for example, coloured pencils, paints, pastels, pencil shading, the choice is theirs! The children need to use A4 paper which the school will provide if necessary, and the entry fee is 50p which the children should hand to the teacher with their entry by the end of this term. The prize will be a selection of art materials and there will be runner up prizes also!

Good luck!

From Business Club

Business Club Raises over 300!

Business Club would like to thank everyone involved in raising over £300 through Film Night and the Easter Raffle in Term 4! This will be put to good use for resources to enhance the children's education.

Well done to all Business Club members for all you hard work!!

Business Club Raises over 250!

Business Club would like to thank everyone involved for helping to raise over £250 for school resources! The children had a great time watching the Lego Movie and behaved beautifully while sitting munching their popcorn!

Business Club is run by KS2 children with a view to raising money for resources that will benefit the whole school. The children have weekly meetings where they discuss ideas for fundraising, such as  'Frozen Fridays', the Easter raffle, film night and the Christmas Fair.

Over the last 2 years we have raised approximately £2000! Business Club has been able to contribute to the fencing in the Jubilee Garden, resources for playground leaders, as well as sports equipment and outfits.

Our next event will be the Christmas fair, we hope to see you there!
