Applying for a primary school place
You should apply for a primary or infant school place if your child is born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021

The preferred method for applying for a Reception place is online. Apply for a place online here. You can also apply by telephoning Lincolnshire County Council Customer Service Centre on 01522 782030.
If you need to apply for a place outside of the normal admissions dates, perhaps because you have just moved to the area, then you should use the process described on the Lincolnshire County Council 'Midyear admissions' pages.

How do I apply for a school place?
1. Read the Lincolnshire School Admission Guide 2025
2. Visit the schools you are interested in
We encourage prospective families to visit our school. We feel it is very important to see us in action and therefore we hope that our open mornings and virtual tour will give you an insight into our school life. We welcome individual queries via telephone or email.
3. Ask the schools for a prospectus so you can learn more about them
We have the St Gilbert's presentation, Ofsted report, the Anglican school report and details of the admissions and other policies to help you learn more about us.
4. Apply online before the closing date
You will need to apply for a school place online. Applications for admissions can be made from 15 November 2024 until noon 15 January 2025 for children starting September 2025. Our School PAN number is 45
5. Offers of school places sent out/available online
National offer day is 16 April 2025. If you applied online your offer will be e-mailed on this day or it will be posted on this day if you applied by paper
6. Respond to offer
Lincolnshire County Council will presume you accept your offer unless you reject it, you do not have to do anything further.
7. Appeals
As an Own Admission Authority school, if you wish to appeal a school place, please complete the below Appeal Form and return to:

- deadline for an appeal to be received - 14 May 2025
Appeals will be heard after the appeal deadlines.
